Journey Down Musical Lane
If you're looking for a warm, relaxed afternoon out, this one's well worth putting in your diary. Pam and John are bringing their Journey down Musical Memory Lane to Blythe Bridge Methodist Church on Saturday 24th October, from 2pm to 4pm. Featuring a delightful mix of clarinet and ukulele, including a tribute to George Formby, it promises to be a wonderfully nostalgic couple of hours – the kind of event where you can sit back, let the music do the talking, and enjoy some great company along the way.
Tickets are just £5 and can be arranged by getting in touch with Alison on 07538 548 388. It's a small price for what's shaping up to be a really special afternoon, and every penny goes to a good cause. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Oak Tree Project, so you'll be supporting something genuinely worthwhile simply by coming along and enjoying yourself.
The event is being held at Blythe Bridge Methodist Church, ST11 9LZ, which is easy to find and welcoming to all. Whether you're a regular at the church, a music lover, or simply someone who fancies a friendly afternoon out in the community, you're more than welcome. Ticket price includes a drink and biscuit, but also cakes will be available to buy. Do give Alison a call to grab your tickets before they go – events like this tend to fill up quickly, and it'd be a shame to miss out.
You are very welcome
Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church, or simply looking for a local Methodist community, we would love to help you find a church near you.
